Monica Boaru

Monica Boaru has diverse work experience in finance roles. Monica worked at St. Modwen as the Head of Finance Systems since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Finance Systems Transformation from April 2019 to June 2022 and Head of Finance Operations from May 2017 to April 2019. Before joining St. Modwen, Monica worked at Costa Coffee as an Accounting Services Controller / Finance Transactions Manager from June 2016 to May 2017. Monica also worked at De Montfort University (DMU) as the Interim Head of Financial Services from November 2015 to June 2016. Monica has previous experience at IAC Group, where they served as the SSC Finance Transactions Manager from 2013 to October 2015, Tax and Treasury Manager from 2011 to 2013, and as the Interim AR Manager/Treasurer from 2009 to 2011.

Monica Boaru has a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Constantin Brancoveanu University. Monica also attended CIMA for further education in the same field. In addition, they obtained certifications such as Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) from Pentagon Training and PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner and PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2019. Monica Boaru also holds a School Teacher degree from National Pedagogical College (CNSH).
