Craig Smith has extensive experience in event management and fundraising. Craig currently serves as the Director of Donor Engagement at St. Paul's Senior Services, where they oversee fundraising efforts. Prior to this, they held various roles at St. Paul's Senior Services Foundation, including Fundraising & Event Manager and Event Manager.

In 2008, Craig established their own event management company, Craig Smith Events (CSE). As the Principal/Owner, they developed, planned, and managed corporate functions, theatrical productions, press events, and fundraisers. Craig also handled marketing and promotion for products, businesses, and talent.

Craig also has experience in the non-profit sector, having worked as an Event Manager for Theatre Washington and the Santa Monica College Foundation. In these roles, they managed all event-related components, collaborated with stakeholders, and secured sponsorship.

Furthermore, Craig served as the Managing Director of University Events & Cultural Relations at USC. Craig was responsible for planning and managing high-quality events on and off campus, preparing and monitoring event budgets, and coordinating university-wide and community events.

Earlier in their career, Craig held the position of Vice President, Special Events at Sony Pictures Television. Craig worked closely with publicity, marketing, sales, and production teams to produce events promoting the company and its products. Craig also managed SPT's involvement in industry conventions, conferences, award shows, and fundraising events.

Craig Smith attended Emerson College from 1978 to 1982, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications & Television.
