Alexa Karp

Alexa Karp is a QC Laboratory Technician-Microbiologist at WuXi Advanced Therapies since November 2023. Prior to this role, Karp served as a Nursing Unit Secretary/Aide in the NICU at Saint Peter’s Healthcare System from June 2021 to November 2023, and has been a caregiver at St. Theresa School since May 2016. Karp also has extensive experience in the educational sector, having worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Pace University, focusing on Mycobaterium bovis BCG and its interaction with glutathione, and led Biology 101 discussion groups while mentoring new students through the University 101 course. In addition, Karp has been a cantor at St. Theresa Catholic Church since June 2012, contributing to the community through music and worship. Karp holds a high school diploma from Bishop George Ahr High School and graduated from Pace University in 2021.
