Marie Murphy has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a first-grade teacher at St. Thomas More Catholic School since 1990. Over the years, Marie has taught various grades and subjects, including second and third grades, as well as reading and English for grades 7 and 8, and science for grades 7 and 8. Prior to this role, Marie worked as a kindergarten teacher for Brooklyn City Schools from March 1968 to September 1980. Marie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Kent State University, where education was completed between 1964 and 1968.
