Penny Radford

Penny Radford has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 1985, they worked as a Science Teacher at Marcellin College for two years. From 1987 to 1988, they taught Biology and Science subjects at Holy Cross College. In 1991, they served as a part-time Biology Lecturer at Granville TAFE until 1993. Penny then worked as a Biology Teacher at PLC Pymble from 1992 to 1993. In 1997, they joined St Vincent's College as a Biology/Chemistry Teacher. Penny later took on various roles at the same institution, including Acting Director of Welfare and Head of O'Brien House. Most recently, Penny has been working at St Vincent's College as the Acting Director of Boarding since 2015. Their responsibilities included overseeing the safe and efficient functioning of the Boarding House, as well as implementing positive psychology approaches for student and staff well-being.

Penny Radford has a diverse education history, with a focus on education and marine science. Penny attended the University of NSW from 1979 to 1982, earning a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Marine Science. Following this, they pursued further education at the same university in 1984, where they completed a Graduate Diploma of Education in the field of Education. Prior to their university studies, Penny Radford attended PLC Sydney from 1975 to 1978, where they obtained their Higher School Certificate (HSC). Additionally, they spent the years 1973 to 1974 at Dominican Convent, Moss Vale. Apart from their formal education, Penny Radford holds the certification as a Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainer from the Child Protection Investigator institution. It is not specified when they obtained this certification.
