Nicola Cunningham

Nicola Cunningham holds extensive experience in emergency medicine and forensic medicine, currently serving as Deputy Director of Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medicine Physician at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne since 2006. Additionally, Nicola holds leadership roles as Vice Chair and Board Member at the Women's Health Education Network and as a Director at Fidelis Forensics. Engagements include being a Community Representative on the Board Quality, Safety, and Clinical Governance Committee at Merri Health, Patient Safety Education Lead at Monash School of Medicine, and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne. Nicola is a founding fellow and holds various exam committee roles at The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia, and serves as an Academy Member of the Patient Safety Review Team at Safer Care Victoria. As co-founder and director of The Communiqués, Nicola promotes educational initiatives in clinical practice change. Academic qualifications include a Master of Health and Medical Law from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Forensic Medicine from Monash University.
