Leonie Peters

Leonie Peters has extensive experience in the field of optometry and health sciences, currently serving as the Area Manager for Netherlands Distributor Operations at STAAR Surgical since September 2016, with responsibilities including strategic planning, key account management, and driving ICL sales. Previously, Leonie worked as a Field Application Specialist, conducting training and presentations for professionals in the optical field. Prior to joining STAAR Surgical, Leonie held roles at Revision Optics as a Clinical Applications Specialist focused on corneal inlay treatments, and at Eyescan Eye Laser Clinic and other optometry practices, where a foundation was built in patient care, research, and clinical training. Leonie holds a Master's degree in Health Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in Optometry from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
