Edward Thomson

Edward Thomson is an experienced product management professional with a diverse background in software engineering and program management. Currently serving as a Product Manager at Stacklok since December 2023, Edward focuses on software security and dependency management for developers and open source communities. Previously, as Director of Product Management at Vercel, Edward led a global team and managed product initiatives for the "Ship" division. At GitHub, significant contributions included revamping the GitHub Actions product and acquiring npm. Edward has also held program management and engineering roles at Microsoft, Teamprise, SourceGear, and Rave Communications, showcasing a strong foundation in both technical and leadership capacities. Edward holds degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Parkland College.
