Roel Rabijns

Roel Rabijns currently serves as Dagelijks bestuurder at vzw Muziekmaat, focusing on concerts and musical projects since February 2024. Since October 2010, Roel has been with Stad Genk, holding roles such as Coördinator Burgerbudgetten and stafmedewerker Evenementen, contributing to program development and music programming for city events. Previously, Roel worked as a promotor for Genk on stage from 2010 to October 2022 and as a Muziekprogrammator at CC Zwaneberg from March 2019 to September 2021. Roel's career in youth culture and community engagement began at jeugdcentrum rondpunt 26 from August 1996 to October 2010. Roel holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven and has pursued further education at KU Leuven.
