Steven van Esser

Steven Van Esser is an experienced architect with a focus on sustainable and change-oriented building practices. Currently serving as the Coördinator of SURE 2050 at Stad Hasselt since August 2021, Steven also founded and manages TouchWood outdoor wood concepts, operating since January 2020. Previous roles include Architect and Account Manager at MOSARD, and Team Lead at multiple architecture firms including A2O Architects, Joris Diliën & Partners, and Team Architects Pty (Ltd) in South Africa. Steven’s educational background includes an Architectural Technologist degree and a Master’s degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from Hasselt University, complemented by foundational studies at Atlas College Genk.
