Thomas Peeters

Thomas Peeters is an experienced professional in the fields of social work, event management, and education. Currently serving as a Docent in Sport- en Cultuurmanagement at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences and as CEO of Taxan[TRIA] since March 2020, Thomas has also worked with Stad Turnhout in various capacities since June 2007, including roles as Consulent Evenementen and Jeugdconsulent, focusing on participation, communication, youth work, cultural events, and policy planning. Previous positions include Maatschappelijk werker at Muylenberg and (hoofd)opvoeder at Elegast, where responsibilities involved managing residents' files and coaching teams in the residential guidance of youth involved with the youth care system. Thomas holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Antwerp and a Bachelor's degree in Maatschappelijk Assistent from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool.
