Dr. Atanur Dogan

Dr. Atanur Dogan has an extensive work experience in various leadership and management roles. Dr. Atanur is currently serving as the Head of Global IT Portfolio & Financial Management at STADA Group. In this position, they are responsible for transforming and introducing strategic demand, portfolio, and IT-finance management to optimize resources and streamline operations. Dr. Atanur also advises senior executives on portfolio management, change management, and identifying new opportunities.

Prior to their current role, Dr. Dogan worked at AirPlus International from 2013 to 2021. During their tenure, they served as the Director of Corporate Portfolio Management and successfully integrated two departments into one, improving efficiency. Dr. Atanur also managed a team of over 120 members and introduced innovative portfolio governance structures and project management practices.

Furthermore, they held the position of Head of Business Transformation Expertise and Process Excellence & Operational Readiness, where they led two teams responsible for driving transformation process across the organization. Dr. Atanur also served as the Sourcing Director on an interim basis, establishing and leading the sourcing department.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Dogan worked at Lufthansa Systems, where they held various roles including Head of Pricing and Fare Management Systems, Managing Consultant, Head of Consulting & Projects, Head of Requirements Management, Head of Testing, Head of Quality Management, Specialist Systems Engineering, and Project Manager Reengineering. In these positions, they successfully led teams, improved service delivery, and achieved higher levels of customer satisfaction.

Dr. Atanur Dogan holds a doctorate degree (Dr. rer. nat.) in Theoretical Astroplasmaphysics from Ruhr University Bochum, as well as a diploma degree (Dipl. Phys.) in Laser and Plasma Physics, and Laser Medicine from the University of Düsseldorf.
