Alec Taylor

Alec Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Alec currently serves as the Technical Director at Stadium since April 2022. Previously, they worked as the Newscast Director/Video Editor at WKOW-ABC 27 from April 2021 to April 2022. Prior to that, they were a Newscast Director at WGEM TV from May 2018 to April 2021.

Alec also has experience in multimedia journalism, having worked as a Multimedia Journalist at WIUTV3 from January 2018 to May 2018. Alec wrote, recorded, and edited packages for the Live at 4 Newscast and conducted in-depth interviews for stories.

In addition, Alec has worked in broadcasting and sports production roles as a Freelancer from September 2017 to May 2018, and at WIUTV3 on ESPN3 from January 2017 to May 2018. Alec also served as a Radio Personality at 88.3 The Dog - WIUS-FM from January 2017 to May 2018.

Before entering the media industry, Alec gained experience as a Choral Intern at Wesley United Methodist Church from August 2015 to May 2018. Alec also worked at Western Illinois University as an Intramural Official Supervisor/Lead Official from August 2014 to May 2018. In this role, they conducted referee/official trainings, served as a lead official for intramural games, and supervised games while providing feedback to improve officiating skills.

Alec Taylor obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, specializing in Broadcasting - Production, from Western Illinois University. This degree was earned between the years 2014 and 2018.
