Magdalena Hinterbrandner

Magdalena Hinterbrandner is currently serving as a Volontärin in the Crossmedia-Redaktion at Stadt Augsburg since December 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Musikredakteurin and Volontärin at echion AG between November 2020 and December 2023, as well as a one-week internship at Radio Fantasy GmbH in June 2022. Magdalena has also completed a Volontariat in Journalism at the Deutsche Journalisten-Akademie from May 2021 to May 2022, and worked as a Projektassistentin in Music Management at KlangForum Heidelberg from April 2019 to August 2020. Project management experience with NDR Norddeutscher Rundfunk was gained in February 2020. Earlier roles include freelance journalism for Süddeutsche Zeitung and contributions to music journalism initiatives at Heidelberger Frühling and Mozartfest Würzburg. Magdalena holds a Master of Arts in Musikwissenschaft and Germanistik, and a Bachelor of Arts in the same fields, both from Heidelberg University.
