Axel Köhler

Axel Köhler is an experienced technology leader with a strong focus on infrastructure and software development. Currently serving as Tech Lead at Staffbase since July 2020, Axel has been instrumental in promoting documentation as code and enhancing decision-making processes through the implementation of Architectural Decision Records (ADRs). Prior roles include Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Staffbase, where Axel contributed to the migration to Azure Kubernetes Service, and Cloud Architect at Kiwigrid GmbH, emphasizing DevOps practices and developing a sustainable infrastructure for deployment and monitoring. Additional experience includes software development roles at ASML, Saxonia Systems AG, and ERDMANN-Softwaregesellschaft mbH, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics from Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW).
