Nadine Shillingford

As Chief Diversity Advocate (CDA) for Stage 2 Security, Nadine serves as a leader in advancing an S2 environment that inclusively exemplifies the unique, welcoming, and diverse atmosphere at S2. Reporting to the CEO and serving as a member of the senior leadership advisory team, Nadine is responsible for the overall diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy and plays a major role in the conception, development, and implementation of strategies with the company. Nadine provides vision, leadership, and counsel on matters of diversity initiatives; strategic planning; training, education, and research; community relations; policy development; communications; and implementation of high-impact efforts that safeguard diversity, equity, inclusion, and mutual respect for all S2 employees.

Nadine also serves as a Program Manager (PM) and Senior Security Engineer at S2, working with clients to improve their security information and event management infrastructure. Nadine has also worked in academia as an assistant professor of computer science and software engineering. During her time in academia, she participated in multiple outreach programs with the goal to encourage females and other underrepresented groups to pursue STEM careers. Nadine holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame.
