Neil MacKinnon

Neil Mackinnon has a diverse range of work experience in various roles related to spatial analysis, data management, and geographic information systems (GIS). Neil has worked for companies and organizations such as Stagecoach Group plc, Communities Scotland, Davis Ogilvie Partners, Clackmannanshire Council, The Ohio State University, Scottish Power, and Lebanon County Conservation District. Neil'sroles have included insight lead, data & market analyst, investment coordinator, GIS consultant, GIS coordinator, GIS technician, research assistant, GIS trainer, and GIS intern. Throughout their career, Neil has utilized their skills in spatial and demographic analysis, database development, data analysis, strategic advice, stakeholder engagement, housing investment, real estate management, asset management, research, and training.

Neil Mackinnon holds a Master of Arts degree in Spatial Analysis Methods - Geography from The Ohio State University, which they obtained from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography (with Honors) from the University of Aberdeen, completing from 1990 to 1994. In addition to their academic qualifications, Neil has obtained several certifications, including Go MTB assessor (Level 5) from Cycling Scotland in 2016, Cycle Training Assistant from Cycling Scotland in 2015, Mountain Bike Trail Cycle Leader from British Cycling in 2014, and IDM Award in Data Management from The Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM) in 2014.
