Thomas Roberts

Thomas Roberts is an experienced metallurgist and educator, currently serving as a Metallurgist at Stainless Foundry & Engineering, Inc., where the focus is on developing best practices for the production of cast bronze alloys since June 2021. In addition, Thomas has been an esteemed Metallurgy and Materials Technology Instructor at MATC since August 1983, responsible for teaching and developing courses and maintaining metallurgy laboratories. Previous roles include Chief Metallurgist at Crucible Steel Div Howmet, where Thomas managed the metallurgy lab and trained personnel, and Technical Research Engineer at the Steel Founders' Society of America, where research and support for foundry industries were key responsibilities. Thomas holds a Master's degree in Materials Science from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Metallurgical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
