Udbhav Prasad

Udbhav Prasad is currently a software engineer at Stairwell. Udbhav has previous experience working as a software engineer at Rubrik, Inc. from October 2017 to April 2022 and as a member of technical staff at BloomReach from February 2016 to September 2017. Udbhav has been instrumental in building a replication micro-service that copies data efficiently from the minimum number of nodes in a source Cassandra cluster to a target Cassandra cluster. Udbhav has also launched a globally available Cassandra cluster across AWS on East, West and APAC datacenters. Udbhav is skilled in managing an Elastic Data Platform that provides infrastructure as a service - provisioning AWS instances, scaling up and scaling down instantly and handling optimal resource allocation. Udbhav has also worked on various projects that involved cutting infrastructure costs without affecting our serving abilites at scale.

Udbhav Prasad received a Master of Science in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. Udbhav also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Master of Science in Mathematics from the same school.

Udbhav Prasad reports to Siddhartha Sinha, VP of Engineering. They work with Drew Krausen - Senior Support Engineer, Tuan Vu - Software Engineer, and Vinith Podduturi - Software Engineer.
