Christopher Soules has a diverse work history that spans several industries and roles. Christopher began their career as a Police Officer at the Greenwich Police Department in 1992 and later became a Police Sergeant, leading a squad of patrol officers and supervising dispatch operations. In 2002, they transitioned to the NYC Law Department as an Assistant Corporation Counsel, where they defended the City of New York in civil litigation cases and provided legal representation to the NYPD. From 2006 to 2008, Soules worked as a Staff Attorney for the NYC Patrolmen's Benevolent Association, offering legal services for a labor union representing police officers. Christopher then joined Hogan Lovells as a Project Attorney, providing litigation services on a contract basis for discovery projects and internal investigations. Soules subsequently joined the NYC Commission to Combat Police Corruption as an Examining Attorney, overseeing police misconduct investigations and collaborating with law enforcement professionals. Most recently, they served at the Stamford Public Schools as the Executive Director of Human Resources, leading HR initiatives and overseeing employee relations for a large school district.
Christopher Soules has a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from John Jay College (CUNY) and a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. Christopher also holds a SHRM Certificate in Professional HR Management from Pace University, obtained in April 2023. Additionally, Christopher Soules is pursuing the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM.
