Anne Straumfors is a distinguished researcher currently serving as Lead Research Professor at STAMI - Statens arbeidsmiljøinstitutt since October 2018. With an extensive career at the National Institute of Occupational Health since September 2006, holding positions such as Research Professor, Senior Scientist, and Research Scientist, Anne has contributed significantly to the field. Previous roles include Guest Researcher at Massey University's Centre for Public Health Research in early 2017 and various research fellow and engineering positions at notable institutions from 1995 to 2006. Anne holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, obtained between 2004 and 2006, as well as a Master of Science (MSc) in Molecular Cell Biology/Immunology from the University of Oslo, awarded from 1989 to 1995.
