Jasse Tykkyläinen

Jasse Tykkyläinen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. They started their career in 2007 as a Military Police in the Finnish Defence Forces. In 2010, they served as a Finance Controller for AIESEC Jyväskylä, where they were responsible for bookkeeping and budgeting. From 2003 to 2011, Jasse worked as a Marketing Assistant at Idealmarkkinointi Oy, contributing to various online marketing projects.

In 2009, they became the Marketing Manager at Kolin Kaskilinna, where they designed and created online marketing, managed sales, and handled customer relations for a luxurious holiday home. From 2014 to 2017, Jasse worked as a Strategy Consultant at Trendie, advising large and medium-sized organizations in market intelligence, quantitative and qualitative market research, and implementing necessary changes in response to market conditions.

From 2017 to 2021, Jasse was a Data Analyst at Västtrafik, focusing on spatial analysis and utilizing technologies such as Python, SQL, GIS, Power BI, and Tableau. They assisted Västtrafik in making data-driven decisions for developing its transport network and realizing market potential. Currently, Jasse holds the role of Senior Business Intelligence Developer at Stampen Media since November 2021 and will transition to the role of Business Intelligence Lead in March 2023.

Jasse Tykkyläinen completed their education in a chronological order. Jasse started by earning their International Baccalaureate Diploma from Joensuun Lyseo Upper Secondary School from 2004 to 2007.

Later, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Jyväskylä during the period of 2008 to 2012. In 2009-2010, Jasse participated in the Erasmus Exchange Programme at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, where they studied Business and German as part of their coursework.

In 2012, Jasse enrolled in the University of Gothenburg, completing their Master's Degree in Economics from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, during the same year, they attended the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin as part of a Summer School program to study German.

Furthermore, Jasse has obtained several certifications, all acquired in August 2021. These certifications include "Advanced Pandas," "Azure: Understanding the Big Picture," "Become a SQL Developer," "Data Science Foundations: Data Engineering," "Learning SQL Programming," "Programming Foundations: Databases," "SQL Essential Training," and "SQL: Data Reporting and Analysis." Jasse obtained these certifications from LinkedIn.
