Mea Anderson

Mea Anderson currently serves as the Illinois Marketing and Communications Manager at Stand for Children since September 2023. Previously, Mea has held multiple roles at Stanford University from February 2018, including Communication and Social Media Program Manager, where responsibilities encompassed developing virtual programming, enhancing the office’s brand through social media, and achieving significant growth in engagement metrics. As a Program Coordinator, Mea implemented a COVID-19 resource allocation system for 20,000 individuals and collaborated across departments to enhance student services. Additional experience as a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant included redesigning funding portfolios and reshaping Greek life for inclusivity, while earlier roles involved research assistance in linguistics and interning at Thrive Alliance focused on DEI strategies. Mea holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Computer Software Engineering.
