Euclides Péricles Mfumu

Euclides Péricles Mfumu has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Euclides Péricles currently holds the position of Chief Data Scientist at Standard Bank Angola since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist at Unitel from January 2020 to January 2022. Euclides Péricles also worked at Angola Cables as a Data Scientist and BI Developer from November 2018 to January 2020. Before transitioning into data science, Euclides gained experience in software development and co-founded ProhoriX, where they worked as a Software Developer from February 2011 to December 2017. Euclides also has teaching experience, serving as an Assistant Lecturer in various subjects at Catholic University of Angola from 2012 to 2015. Euclides Péricles started their professional career as a Service Desk Technician at Catoca from March 2009 to May 2009.

Euclides Péricles Mfumu completed a Master's degree in Big Data Technologies from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2017-2018. Prior to that, in 2016, Mfumu studied English for University Studies at INTO University Partnerships. Mfumu's earlier education includes a degree in IT Engineering from Universidade Católica de Angola, which was obtained between 2008 and 2013. Additionally, Mfumu received several certifications, such as "Essential Math for Machine Learning: Python Edition" from LinkedIn in 2020, "Managing Technical Professionals" from LinkedIn in 2020, a joint certificate from SAS and GCU in 2018, and "Building Intelligent Chatbots on AWS" from LinkedIn in 2017.
