Tariny Correia is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in structured finance and corporate banking. As a Senior Manager at Standard Bank Angola since December 2021, Tariny leads the Energy and Infrastructure sector, focusing on business origination and transaction execution for corporate and investment banking clients. Tariny's prior roles include Deputy Director at Banco Económico, where responsibilities spanned Trade Finance and Capital Markets, and a member of the ICC Banking Commission's Successors in Trade Programme, which fosters future leaders in Trade Finance. With a solid foundation in finance initiated through earlier positions at Standard Chartered Bank and Trafigura, Tariny holds a Bachelor's degree in Financial Management from the University of Essex and completed the MBA Essentials program at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
