David Gracieuse

David Gracieuse serves as the COO of Global Markets at Investec since September 2024, leading a team in sophisticated Treasury and Global Markets operations. With extensive experience at Standard Bank Group since January 2009, David has held several leadership positions including Executive Business Manager and Senior Business Manager for Global Markets in Africa, overseeing business development, risk management, and compliance across 17 countries on the continent. Previous roles at Standard Bank Mauritius and Barclays Bank involved setting up treasury operations and managing liquidity and cash flow. David holds an Executive MBA from Stellenbosch Business School and has a career foundation that includes law enforcement experience as a Police Constable.
