Jola Ajelabi

Jola Ajelabi, CFA, is a finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking, particularly in the TMT, fintech, and financial sponsors sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Standard Bank Group since February 2017, Jola advises and executes transactions, managing multi-national client relationships and exploring new business opportunities. Previously, as an Associate in Mergers and Acquisitions at Standard Bank Group, Jola executed various transactions across sectors, including healthcare and consumer services, and initiated a modeling challenge to enhance the skills of analysts and associates. Earlier career roles include serving as an Equity Research Analyst for Asset & Resource Management Holding Co Ltd, providing analysis and recommendations for the cement and construction sectors, and contributing to DTZ's financial services department during the global financial crisis. Jola holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Essex and an MSc in Finance and Economics from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School.
