Shanen Soltani Icely

Shanen Soltani Icely has a diverse range of work experience. Shanen began their career as a Backline Support Assistant at STS Touring Productions Ltd in 2009. In 2010, they worked as a Brand Ambassador for Sony. From 2012 to 2013, Shanen worked as a Freelance Product Designer, Graphic Designer, and Animator for Trappex Ltd. In 2014, they founded Icelander Designs, a freelance product design service. During this time, they also interned as a Product Design Engineer at MADE Product Development Ltd. Shanen later became a Product Design Engineer and managed various projects until 2018. From 2018 to 2019, Shanen worked as a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer at Kratos Analytical Ltd, where they designed precision parts for ultra-high vacuum instrumentation. Their most recent position is as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Standard Bots, starting in 2020.

Shanen Soltani Icely received their BSc (Hons) Product Design degree from The University of Huddersfield, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their A Level studies at The Blue Coat School Sixth Form from 2008 to 2010. Their education journey began at The Blue Coat School, where they pursued their GCSE studies from 2003 to 2008.
