Alvaro Garrido

Alvaro Garrido has extensive experience in the field of technology and security, having held various leadership roles in companies such as Standard Chartered Bank, BBVA, Covault, Nordea, British American Tobacco, Roche Pharmaceuticals, and Sun Microsystems. Currently serving as the Group CISO at Standard Chartered Bank, Alvaro has a strong background in managing information, data and cyber security, physical security, and anti-fraud operations on a global scale. With a Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Alvaro also completed the International Management Program at MIT Sloan School of Management.
