Dan Chambers

Dan Chambers is a seasoned professional in regulatory operations with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Global Head of Regulatory Operations at Standard Chartered Bank since January 2020, Dan previously held the position of Chair of the Transaction Reporting Working Group at UK Finance from November 2019 to November 2022. Prior to these roles, Dan worked at Nomura as an SFTR Implementation Consultant and MiFID II Implementation Lead for Operations from October 2014 to December 2019, focusing on transaction and reference data reporting. Dan's career began at HSBC Bank UK, where from November 1998 to August 2014, Dan progressed from Supervisor to London Head of Regulatory Reporting, leading the creation and management of the regulatory reporting control team and conducting operational risk reviews across European sites.
