Muhit Rahman

Muhit Rahman has over 28 years of extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Financial Markets at Standard Chartered Bank since October 2005. Rahman has held various leadership positions within Standard Chartered, including Managing Director and Head of Financial Institutions, Executive Director and Head of Financial Institutions, and Director and Head of Banks, FIG. Prior to this, Rahman worked at American Express from February 1995 to September 2005, where Muhit advanced from Management Trainee to Director in the Corporate Banking Division. Rahman holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Institute of Business Administration at the University of Dhaka, earned between January 1992 and December 1994.
