Lead PV Design Engineer at Standard Energy Services

Dixiao Fan, EIT has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. They started their career at IT Electronics Eleventh Design & Research Institute Scientific & Technology Engineering Co., Ltd as an Internal Engineer, where they gained experience in designing air-conditioning systems using AutoCAD. They then interned at Sichuan Electric Power Design & consulting Co., Ltd. During their internship, they deepened their understanding of project implementation processes. They later joined Invaleon Technologies Corporation as a student intern, where they focused on permitting and interconnection application for solar photovoltaic projects. They also assisted in the construction set drawing for a solar project. At the same company, Dixiao worked as an Engineering Manager. In this role, they designed a ground-mounted solar farm plan, oversaw multiple residential projects, and created task tracking tools. Currently, Dixiao is working as the Lead PV Design Engineer at Standard Energy Solutions.

Dixiao Fan, EIT, completed their education in the following sequence:

Dixiao attended Hefei University of Technology from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Building Environment and Equipment Engineering.

Following that, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Energy Systems at Northeastern University.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Dixiao Fan also holds several certifications. In May 2016, they obtained the LEED GREEN ASSOCIATE certification from the USGBC (United States Green Building Council). Subsequently, in February 2019, they achieved the PV Installation Professional certification from NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners). Furthermore, they hold the Engineer In Training designation from the Department Of Consumer Affairs. Lastly, they have also obtained the OSHA 10 certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
