Johnson Kao

Johnson Kao is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in global sourcing, operations, and management within the textile and apparel industry. As President/GM for Greater Southeast Asia & Greater China at Standard Fiber since August 2012, Johnson Kao has been instrumental in establishing the company's China office in Shanghai and leading the expansion of sourcing initiatives across various international markets. Prior roles include serving as VP of Sourcing, Operations, and Quality at Victoria Classics, where responsibilities included full P&L management and strategic sourcing in China, and as EVP of the Apparel Division at YSG, where foundational operations and production were developed in multiple countries. Johnson Kao began the career as Merchandise Manager at Kex Group, overseeing OEM garment production across multiple regions. Educational credentials include participation in the Stanford Executive Program and certification as an Executive Coach, complemented by a B.A. in Economics from UC Irvine.
