Alberto Leyes has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alberto is currently the Global Head of Product & Data at Standard Media Index, where they oversee the company's product strategies and data management. Prior to this, Leyes served as the Global Head of Strategy and Managing Director - EMEA at the same company. Alberto also held positions as VP of Business Development and Director of Business Development, where they were responsible for sales and developing advertising spend data solutions. Leyes began their career as a Data Category Manager, where they managed a team and executed global data rollout plans. Before joining Standard Media Index, they worked as an Institutional Sales MBA Intern at Ardour Capital Investments. Leyes also has experience as an Accounts Director at GT Comunicación and a Projects Director at Medialuna Comunicación, where they handled major marketing communications projects. Alberto started their career as a News Producing and Editing Trainee at Mediaset España and worked in news edition and production at Europa Press.

Alberto Leyes completed their Bachelor's Degree in Periodismo at Universidad CEU San Pablo from 2000 to 2005. Alberto later pursued an M.B.A. with a specialization in Marketing at Fordham Gabelli School of Business, which they completed from 2011 to 2012. Recently, in 2018 and 2019, they participated in the Executive Program Big Data & Artificial Intelligence at IE Business School.
