Dottie Tieslau

Dottie Tieslau currently serves as 2nd Vice President at The Standard since April 2024. Previously, Tieslau held the position of Staff Vice President for Life, Disability, and Absence Claims and Operations at Elevance Health from April 2018 to April 2024, and also served as Staff Vice President for Life & Disability Claims and Operations at Anthem, Inc. from April 2018 to August 2022. Prior experience includes Regional Vice President for Atlanta Disability Claims at Lincoln Financial Group (January 2012 - January 2018), Customer Contact Center Manager at The Hartford (April 2007 - January 2012), and Associate Manager at Prudential Insurance (1983 - 1991). Tieslau earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Recreation Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 1979 and 1983 and completed secondary education at Vineland High School from 1975 to 1979.
