Tim Mathis

Tim Mathis has a diverse work history spanning over 20 years. Tim began their career in the United States Marine Corps as an M1A1 Tank Technician, serving from 1998 to 2004. Following their military service, Tim held positions as a Repair Development Engineer at Pratt & Whitney from 2001 to 2007, where they eventually became a Lead Engineer. Tim then worked as a Repair Development Engineer at the Aerofab Division of Tube Processing Corporation from 2007 to 2010. Tim's next role was at Barnes Aerospace, where they served as a Manager of Lean & Continuous Improvement from 2010 to 2011. Tim then joined StandardAero as a Sr. Repair Development Manager from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, Tim also worked briefly as a Senior Engineer at GE before rejoining StandardAero, where they held various positions including Director of Engineering, Vice President of Operations, General Manager, and Director of Repair Strategy. Most recently, Tim served as the Vice President of Technical Operations and Leap Industrialization at StandardAero since June 2023.

Tim Mathis received their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in the years 2001 to 2010. Tim then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance and Aviation at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, completing it in 2018.
