Professor Mark Watson

Professor Mark Watson is an experienced academic and professional in the fields of design, sustainability, and innovation. Currently serving as a Judge for the Placemaking category in the NSW Sustainability Awards and for the Tourism & Destinations Award at the Banksia Foundation, Mark also holds positions as a Visiting Professor at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth and an Adjunct Professor at the World University of Design. In addition, Mark works as a Contingent Worker at Swinburne University of Technology and is Managing Partner of the DesignThinkers Group in Australia, focusing on design-driven innovation. With extensive involvement in various organizations such as the Odisha Design Council and the International Society for Professional Innovation Management, Mark contributes to the advancement of design and innovation practices worldwide. Educational qualifications include multiple degrees in design, education, and architecture from prestigious institutions including RMIT University and Deakin University.
