William Wilson

William Wilson has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, holding various leadership roles in prominent organizations. William currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford/Stanford Children's Health. Prior to this, they worked as the Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives for the same institutions. William has also served as a Global Healthcare CIO for The START Center for Cancer Care and as a Healthcare Executive Consultant for North Highland. Additionally, they worked as a Healthcare Executive for T2 Tech Group, Vice President of Strategic Services for Falcon Consulting Group, and held senior positions at IBM, Shannon Health System, and Grady Health System. William is known for their expertise in technology implementation, strategic planning, and improving patient outcomes in the healthcare industry.

William Wilson has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Oklahoma, which they obtained from 1988 to 1990. Prior to that, they attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University from 1977 to 1980, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, William obtained the Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO) certification from CHIME in February 2022 and the FHIMSS certification from HIMSS in September 2019.
