Laura Sittig

Laura Sittig, PhD, is a Senior Genomics Scientist at Stanford Health Care, with prior experience as a Scientist at Precision Genomics for Intermountain Healthcare and as a Project Consultant for SelectHealth. Laura's background includes significant roles as a Senior Medical Writer and Postdoctoral Fellow at Intermountain Healthcare and the University of California, San Diego, where CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing techniques were employed to develop novel genetic mouse models. During a postdoctoral fellowship at The University of Chicago, Laura produced innovative systems genetics analyses and secured substantial federal and private funding through multiple NIH grant submissions. Laura holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Northwestern University and a B.A. in Neuroscience from Colgate University.
