Nikki Duong

Nikki Duong is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine specializing in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology at Stanford Health Care since October 2023. Previously, Duong completed a Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at VCU Health, where over 20 peer-reviewed manuscripts were published and earned the VCU Outstanding Fellow Research Scholar of the Year Award in 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Hospitalist and Internal Medicine Resident at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where recognition included the 2019 Hugh H. Hussey Award for excellence in teaching and mentorship. Duong has also held research and leadership roles, such as a Gill Research Fellow at GW Medical Faculty Associates and Director of Camp Cardiac, along with various student mentorship positions during education at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the University of Maryland, where a B.S. in Biological Sciences was obtained.
