Paul Maggio

Paul Maggio currently serves as the Chief Quality Officer and Senior Vice President at Stanford Health Care, a position held since September 2009. In addition to this role, Paul Maggio is the Associate Dean for Quality and Clinical Affairs at Stanford University School of Medicine, a role initiated in September 2023, and a National Examiner for the Baldrige Foundation since July 2018. Prior experience includes serving as the Vice Chair of Surgery for Clinical Affairs and Associate Professor of Surgery at Stanford University and Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Michigan Health System. Paul Maggio holds an MD and an MBA from the University of Michigan, where additional MBA education was completed at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
