Stanford Medicine
Naoya J Maeda-Nishino, MD, is a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University School of Medicine since September 2021, and previously served as a Polyclinic Doctor for The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games for a brief period in 2021. Prior to this, Naoya was a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University School of Medicine from July 2020 to June 2021 and completed a residency at Ikuwakai Memorial Hospital between 2018 and 2020. Additional experience includes a Clerkship in Sleep Medicine at Harvard Medical School in April 2015, an Information Technology Internship with the World Health Organization in July and August 2014, leadership as a Winter Village Leader with CISV International from 2010 to 2011, and a Research Assistant role at The University of Tokyo in summer 2004. Naoya holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Kansai Medical University, a Postdoctoral degree in Medicine from Stanford University School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with double majors in Music and Asian Studies from St. Olaf College.
