Charlie Gordon

Charlie Gordon is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in space initiatives and engineering internships. As Rockets and Systems Co-lead for the Stanford Student Space Initiative since March 2021, Charlie co-leads project Olympus, which focuses on launching a liquid bi-prop rocket, and the propulsion team for the Spaceshot mission aiming to reach the Karman Line. Charlie's internship at Relativity Space involved working as a System Integration and Test Engineer, focusing on 3D printed rockets. Additionally, Charlie interned at SpinLaunch, where expertise was developed in designing kinetic-based launch systems, and co-led an aerospace outreach program with Ascension, fostering engineering skills among students in London. Currently, Charlie is pursuing a BS in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Computer Science at Stanford University, following a strong academic foundation with A levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and Engineering from St Paul's School.
