Ankita Nayak

Ankita Nayak is a highly experienced engineer with a robust background in machine learning and modem technology, currently holding the position of Senior Staff Engineer at Qualcomm since September 2013, focusing on on-device ML for AI/ML-enabled 5G modems. Prior roles at Qualcomm include Staff Engineer and Staff R&D Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed performance evaluations and hardware architecture design. Additionally, Ankita serves as Teaching Staff at Stanford University for courses related to machine learning on embedded systems and has previous experience as an ASIC Design Engineer at Intel Corporation and a SoC Design Intern at LSI. Ankita’s educational background includes a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stanford University, along with degrees in Computer Engineering from Columbia University and Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai, supplemented by a program in entrepreneurship from Stanford's Graduate School of Business.
