Dr. David C. Yeomans is a Professor in the Department of Anesthesia at Stanford Medical School and the Director of Pain Research and the Medical Neuroscientist Program. They earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Dartmouth College and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Florida, focusing on the effects of narcotic analgesics on pain. Currently, Dr. Yeomans' academic interests are centered on gene therapy for chronic pain and biomarkers. In addition to their academic role, Dr. Yeomans has founded multiple companies, including Trigemina, Inc. and SiteOne Therapeutics, contributing significantly to novel therapeutic approaches in pain management.
