Eric Montell

Eric Montell serves as a Trustee for Specialty Events Trust and Managing Director for Specialty Events, LLC, both since February 2025. Montell also holds the position of Board Trustee at NACUFS and serves on the Advisory Board of the College & University Foodservice Leadership Council for the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association since July 2023. At Stanford University, Montell has advanced through various roles since May 1998, currently acting as Assistant Vice Provost of Stanford Dining, which oversees a diverse range of dining operations. Montell is a co-founder and Board Member of both the Menus of Change University Research Collaborative and the Stanford Food Institute. Prior experience includes Director of Operations at Stanford Hospital and Clinics with Sodexo. Educational background includes studies at Stanford University, Harvard Law School, The Culinary Institute of America, and the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
