Ingrid K.

Ingrid K. is a Biocuration Scientist at Stanford University since March 2022, previously serving as a Senior Scientific Database Curator at SRI International for 18 years. Prior experience includes a role as Research Scientist II at BD Biosciences Clontech, focusing on gene expression assays where Ingrid contributed to the design of over 20,000 probes for cDNA and oligonucleotide arrays. Ingrid's expertise includes developing and optimizing PCR primer and oligo design processes, as well as curating public database links for gene expression and antibody arrays. Ingrid also has a background as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Stanford Human Genome Center, where tools and protocols for sequencing the human genome were developed. Ingrid holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Stanford University and an M.S. in Microbiology from The University of Georgia.
