Ingrid Oakley-Girvan

Ingrid Oakley-Girvan, PhD, MPH, currently serves as a High Impact Technology (HIT) Fund Advisor at Stanford University, beginning in September 2024. With extensive experience in research and public health, Oakley-Girvan holds the position of Research Program Director II and Executive Director of The Proving Ground for Data and Technology at the Public Health Institute since 2018. Prior to this, Oakley-Girvan was the Senior Vice President of Research and Strategy at Medable, Inc. from May 2015 to September 2024, focusing on facilitating seamless collaborations in clinical trials to enhance medical innovation. Additional roles include positions at the Cancer Prevention Institute of California and consulting for Stanford University School of Medicine and VitalConnect. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Epidemiology, Genetics, Oncology, and Biostatistics from Stanford University School of Medicine, an MPH from Tulane University, and a BS in Biology and Psychology from the University of Michigan.
