Melody Ly

Melody Ly is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as an Ophthalmic Technician at MyEyeDr. since April 2023. Melody has been involved with Stanford University School of Medicine as a mentor for the Stanford STaRS Internship and as a Research Assistant in Helms Lab since June 2021. Additional roles include being a Leadership Education for Aspiring Physicians (LEAP) Scholar with Project Vietnam Foundation, a Project Intern, and Health Education Chair at Pacific Free Clinic, where Spanish interpretation services have also been provided. Prior experience includes work as a Border Rights Project Intern with Al Otro Lado and a Research Assistant at Pacific Free Clinic, focusing on health disparities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Melody is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology with an emphasis on Social Class, Race, Ethnicity, and Health at Stanford University, where studies commenced in 2019. Education culminated in being Salutatorian at Greenfield High School in 2019.
