Menglan Xiang

Menglan Xiang is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University since January 2019, focusing on lymphatic vasculature and inflammatory responses through cutting-edge techniques like single-cell RNA-seq. Significant contributions include leading a multinational collaboration that produced the first comprehensive characterization of murine lymph node lymphatics and identifying regulatory elements for lymphocyte homing, resulting in first-authored publications. As Vice President of Operations at Biotech Connection - Bay Area, Inc. from March 2020 to November 2023, Menglan coordinated discussions on drug development and hosted networking events to enhance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Previous roles include a Strategy Consultant for a biotech startup and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Dakota, where Menglan published multiple co-authored research articles. Menglan holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a focus on Bioinformatics from the University of North Dakota and a B.S. in Biology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
